Hi, I’m Kylie!
I’m the creator of 100 Tiny Bookmarks, a project I started with one simple idea: even something very small can make someone’s day a little brighter.
I’ve always loved books, animals, traveling, art, being creative, and finding little ways to help others. I wanted to create something with my own hands that I could send out into the world, without knowing exactly who would find it, where it might end up, or whose day it might brighten.
And that’s how 100 Tiny Bookmarks began.
My goal is to create and share handmade bookmarks, each with its own little message of kindness or encouragement. Some might be tucked inside books, left in bookstores or libraries, given to someone who needs a little encouragement, or passed from one person to another.
Each bookmark has a QR code that leads back here. If you find one, I hope you’ll tell me where it found you, share a photo, or leave a little message. One of the things I’m most excited about is watching these tiny bookmarks travel from place to place, into different hands and, hopefully, different parts of the world.
Why 100 Tiny Bookmarks? ♥
Sometimes we think that making a difference means we have to do something huge.
I’m learning that it doesn’t.
It can be writing a few kind words. Giving someone something you made. Helping an animal. Encouraging a friend. Making someone smile. Or leaving a tiny surprise for a person you may never even meet.
100 Tiny Bookmarks is my little experiment to see just how far 100 small acts of kindness can travel.
But my hope isn’t just to reach 100 people. I hope that when someone finds one of my bookmarks, it reminds them that they can create their own small act of kindness too. Maybe they’ll pass the bookmark along. Maybe they’ll write an encouraging note to someone. Maybe they’ll do something completely different.
Because kindness has a funny way of traveling.
So 100 Tiny Bookmarks may start with just 100 bookmarks, but I hope it becomes much more than that. Where it goes from here is up to all of us. ♥
